I'm being very honest with you. I couldn't have chosen a better contractor. Put yourself in my position. I don't know ANYONE up in northern Wisconsin (let alone Crivitz area) and now I want to invest what I consider is a large amount of money that has taken me the last 42 years of my career to save and build a cabin. This is a huge project (and risky) for me. Deb and I have total confidence in you and your crew. The professionalism that has been displayed to us since the start of this project is amazing. I feel like I should build a huge billboard in Crivitz on route 141 and announce to everyone to read how great Lakes Construction is and only a fool would engage in doing business with anyone else.

We are first time home builders and, we did it when we retired! We decided to move from Milwaukee to Crivitz to spend our retirement years. He is a realtor and had searched the area and found Lakes Construction was his choice for his home addition. As a builder Don is very thorough in his presentation of the cost will involve. Thanks to the Team at Lakes Construction for the best and easiest build process ever. We purchased land in northern Wisconsin, 4 hours from our home. It was raw hunting land, and we decided we needed a pole barn to store our camper and toys this year. Trying to find a reliable, affordable builder in the North Woods was a challenge not living in the area. Ultimately we decided to hire Lakes Construction. We were impressed with the building options; traditional pole barn verses garage style, and the explanation of pros and cons to each. But what stood out to us was the response time. Lakes was willing to modify the plans and estimates countless times for our project, and did so in a timely manner. Whenever we had a question we could email Don and we'd have a answer within 24 hours, if not sooner. When the build started Don sent us pictures every day of the progress; from obtaining the building permits all the way through the build. It was amazing how professional they were, and the care they took in the time alone to simply stay in contact with us knowing we were 4 hours away. We've been up to our place nearly every week moving stuff in and are amazed at the quality of construction and ginormous size of the structure. I have no doubt that we will be using Lakes Construction in the future, and I would recommend them to anyone I know in the area.

With the delayed start to the project because of a late winter storm and waiting for spring to arrive, we were concerned with meeting our original completion date of July 1st, 2018. However once construction began we felt at ease as the timeliness of the production schedule for your crew and the sub-contractors used on the project was nothing but amazing. Don communicated us at all times and there was not a day of construction that was missed or delayed for any reason and then we could realize that July 1st was very realistic again. Mike's knowledge, attention to detail, quality of workmanship, and professionalism on site was superior and gratifying to know we were safe under his job site leadership. 

We could not be more impressed or satisfied with Lakes Construction, the emphasis you put on QUALITY of workmanship and professionalism into everything you do is priceless and very comforting to us as a customer.
